Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) | NYS Certified School Psychologist | PEERS® Certified Provider
Matthew Quiroz is the founder of Q Behavioral (Quiroz Applied Behavior Analysis, PLLC), bringing a rare combination of expertise as both a New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and a school psychologist with over 15 years of experience in New York public schools.
Matthew earned his Master's Degree in School Psychology from Queens College in 2010, followed by a second Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Hunter College in 2022. His dual background gives him a uniquely holistic perspective — one that bridges clinical ABA practice with a deep understanding of how schools work and what families need.
Throughout his career, Matthew has specialized in behavioral support for challenging behavior, executive functioning, and social development. He has worked with a wide range of populations, including individuals with autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, ODD, rare syndromes, and more. He has also provided professional training and workshops to school districts and organizations across Long Island and the greater New York area.
Matthew is a UCLA-certified PEERS® Social Skills Program provider and a Certified Safety Care Specialist through QBS.
